It's good, gets irritating sometimes but good. not THE BEST anime though. that's my humble opinion though...it's worth a while of watching! C:

ohhh an anime group.

@katsu. !!!! i loved fruits basket, it was one of the first animes i watched when i was in my twelve-year-old, weeb phase. xD along with that were hetalia, black butler, soul eater, and the like.

my first anime was wolf's rain, though. it will always kind of hold a place in my heart, i really should rewatch it again.

re tokyo ghoul:
if you are interested in it, i would watch two or three eps of the anime just to get a feel for it, i guess? i enjoyed it but the manga is honestly so much better in terms of pacing (from the 14ish chapters i've read since school happened). the anime crammed about 60 or so chapters into 12 episodes and you can tell. there's also funi's weird censoring on the gore which is kinda??? tg is a gorey work of fiction????? animeultima has it listed as suspense horror/dark fantasy but tbh if you're not a fan of either of those genres you might like it bc i found it not entirely one or the other? idk i don't go for either of those genres for the most part and i'm kinda picky So?

unrelated note: has anybody watched aldnoah.zero? the fandom for it is incredibly small and i consider it a hidden gem for the most part (it aired the same season as sao 2 lmfao i wasn't expecting much in terms of hype) and it's kind of my favorite + i would love to talk abt headcanons with somebody?? esp my slaine headcanons bc he's the only reason i'm gonna stick with s2 after the most recent promo.

@dreamer; no I haven't ^^" what's it about..?

@nonary; I haven't seen that one either...
I'll try it though :3

I personally prefer subbed, but some I will watch dubbed just because I think they'll sound better dubbed c:

most of the time i prefer subtitles, just because they seem more accurate. english voice actors like to joke around a lot and they sometimes keep it in the script.

Hey there~ :3

Personally I prefer subbed, too. I used to like dubbed, but when those ran out I was forced to switch to finish the show - and what do you know, they turned out to be pretty great. xD

I prefer subbed for most animes as well since I just feel as though the voices tend to fit the characters better than the dubbed the version. I have tried going to dubbed versions such as on AoT and the voices personally turned me away since I had already watched some of the episodes in the subbed version.

I SAW WOLF'S RAIN MENTIONED.

omg. let me, let me just. that anime literally had me screaming at my screen. it's so beautiful T^T

I've seen a few others, another favorite is ginga densetsu weed. {whats with me and animals?} it was pretty good, I thought.

I also watched a super cute one when I was like, 12, called rizelmine. it got a little innapropriate at times e_e {and I watched the clean one so be warned} but overall it was so cute.

and as for me, I love dubbed. I have way too short of an attention span for subs xD

I had preferred dubbed over the rest because I too have the shortest attention span ever but I wanted to watch Attack on Titan so I was forced to switch over. Now I can do both, but still prefer Dubbed tbh.

And it's a short anime like only 12 episodes maybe(I could be completely off though) and it's kind of like a short love story between these girl who studies a lot and doesn't have friends and this weird guy who's never had any friends and doesn't go to school but they befriend each other and fall for each other. It's realllyyy cute. Plus, there's a chicken involved xD

@maroo: nah i'm relatively newish too (if you can count a year and a half as newish???)

i tend to prefer whichever version i've seen first for some reason? like i prefer the digimon dubs to the subs (even though the dubs are 4kids dubs but w/e w/e it's what i grew up with) but i prefer the subs for snk to the dub. i tend to watch subs more often since i actually have to pay attention to them. with dubs (or really anything in english) i zone out and it becomes background noise. idk its weird and i think i'm the only person that prefers subs over dubs for that reason??
