hopefully everyone knows and loves this wonderfully brutal man otherwise this forum is useless.
basically, this is just a john green appreciation club thing. point blank the man is a genius and my
inspiration. use this to discuss him and his lovely books, don't make me worship him alone. XD

i saw the title of this and about freaked. xD
god, I love john green. And not just for his writing.
I absolutely love love love his vlogs.
And he just seems like an overall amazing person.
I really wish I could meet him some day.
He lives in Indianapolis -- which actually is not very far from me.
It does my heart good to know someone is nearby xD

my favorite book of his would have to be Looking for Alaska.
I like TFiOS, of course, but mmmm Alaska Young ♥

haha, i've been going on a john green tear lately.
i haven't seen too many of his vlogs but that is
definitely something i need to fix. it's so cool you
live near him though. i'm quite far away. but i'm
going to say, my favorite of his is the same. cx
looking for alaska, although not as sad, was truly
perfect.

i'm looking to read one of his newer books, let it
snow... but i'm broke and out of luck. XD

well hey there thorne!
trust me it's quite a challenge reading all of his books.
most end in heartbreak, and there's quite a few... so..
it's pretty understandable XD

but roo, i have about 20 unread books i bought all in
one trip about a few months ago that i have neglected
entirely. the struggle is real

oh goodness, I go on splurges and buy nearly ten of them at a time
and end up buying more before i finish the ones i bought.
I have a bad habit of accidentally buying ones I already have too xD
just simply because i haven't read them and have no clue if I've already bought it.
the struggle is definitely real.

but yes for sure, it's definitely a struggle.
you literally have to prepare yourself
go in with the knowledge you're probably going to get smacked in the face.

I saw the title and came running.

John Green writes from my soul, I swear. He has a way that makes me literally connect and get lost into the book. <3

The first one I read was tfios, not because of the huge movie explosion, just happened to stumble across it first. c:

I'm not going to lie, looking for Alaska wasn't my favorite simply because I was so pissed that the 'incident' happened. I literally was like "Are you kidding me?" Shut the book, and didn't even look at it for three days. XD

I like an abundance of Katherine's, and I'm working on paper towns. C: I haven't heard of his vlogs, however I follow him on Twitter! He's such a great person.

haha, roo, you just described me entirely.
i'm pretty sure i have doubles of at least
five books. XD most of which i've yet to
read as well.

BUT DAPPS. DAPPLE. HEY. the amount of
people who love john on here is extremely
satisfying. c': you should've seen me as i
read the 'incident' the tears just exploded
from my sockets and i too, took a small
break from reading it XD

Oh my goodness. my buddy and i went to see tfios
and we kept looking at each other to see if the other was crying
because whoever cried first had to buy dinner xD
i lost, and he rubs it in my face
every day.

I will admit, looking for alaska had some seriously nice quotes.

"if people were rain, I was a drizzle and she was a hurricane." that was my favorite quote for a solid two months. x3 and "the only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive."

man, the great quotes just never end! you go John Green.

i'm terribly emotional when watching/reading things alone
but when i'm with someone i try so hard to contain myself.

but i so very much agree my little fawn. tehe. john green
is a master of words. like, whoa. my favorite is definitely::
“It always shocked me when I realized that I wasn’t the only
person in the world who thought and felt such strange and
awful things.”

I just couldn't believe the messages he was throwing
in there. it made my head spin! I love love love the
way he uses words and dialogue to just throw a
certain thing at you that he thinks we should all
take away and i try to do the same with my
writing. i've learned a lot from john green ♥

Oh my gosh, is this club for me? John Green is so amazing. I'd have to say my favorite book of his is a tie between Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska. I loved The Fault in Our Stars too, though! I guess just not as much as the others.

So, what are you guys talking about? c: /awkwardly creeps in

So happy I found this post! I LOVE John Green.
I read TFIOS before the movie and I cried so hard.
I have also read an abundance of katherines, paper
towns and am currently reading Looking for Alaska.
John green is such a tear jerker and I absolutely love
his youtube videos about history and the other things
that he does. He's all around amazing.
